Provenance and previous owner are known.
Hard-shell suitcase acquired from Pierre Brice Winnetou in Rome in the 1960s.
Inside on the removable lid is the Gucci logo: "Ritter". (Used until the 1950s)
Wooden bowl with fabric cover: diamond pattern (used until the early 1960s and then replaced by GG). Edge protectors and handle are made of leather, the fittings and inner mountings are made of brass, the keys are no longer present. A total of 8 brass knobs serve as feet, four are missing. The linen lining is intact.
Overall, the case is in good, age-appropriate condition, with some stains/discolouration and signs of wear and tear.
