Greiz was the Principality of the elder Reuss , which existed as an independent state in the German Empire until 1918 and was ruled by the House of Reuss.

The exceptionally shaped bulb are framed by the precious high-precision glass body from the chemical industry. This makes spectacular light giving a unique industrial style.
